But who's to say that one day a new writer comes in, sits down, and hes close to knowing just about everything in RE. And basically really wants to include the past and catch it up with whats going on. There has to be at least a couple Capcom writers that share a love for the series and those "little" things.

Wow. on second thought... that sounds a little too optimistic.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Capcom completely ignored the Alex Wesker plot and never mentioned it again. I'll be happy if they prove me wrong, but, somehow I feel Capcom would easily just forget they even mentioned it and never bring it up again.

If they cared enough to include this "little" tidbit in Lost In Nightmares, is because they have something planned for either Revelations or RE6 at the time the DLC was released. It'd be really pointless to add such an important info and then it becomes vapor. I don't think that's the case with this.

As for unused ideas, you're right but there is info from Revelations that indicate The Organization/The 3rd Organization would be finally being explored, thus closing one of those plot points you mention.

I'm hoping for the best in terms of storyline with the upcoming entries.

Is RE:RV confirmed for TGS?

I really cant wait and for me to be hyped for a game that most likely wont feature Wesker is saying something. =p

Actually there is no info so far to suggest either of those organizations. They are unnamed and both Jessica and Parker formerly worked for "an organization", which could very well be the same one Vester is part of.

All I see are people jumping the gun just because the word "organization" is involved. Never capitalize it, that in itself is a mistranslation because the Japanese text never capitalizes it in any source (unless it explicitly refers to "The 3rd Organization", which is easy to tell because the text will have a 3).

They've already done it before. They brought up Sherry being important in Wesker's Report, then, never mentioned it again and never went anywhere at all with it.

That's because Wesker's Report is not canon, although the new writers do pick-and-choose the story elements from it that they like and tweak them into the series timeline. Sherry's story was closed in BIOHAZARD THE DARKSIDE CHRONICLES, she is being protected by the U.S. Government, and Wesker had access to her through spies in the department responsible for her, but the only interest anyone has in her is for her G-Antibody. Beyond that, she is not important to the series at all.

Fantastic news. But before we get carried away are we sure this is The Organization or is he referring to Veltro as the organization?

We'll need a much better translator to decide because this is the best I can get using machine translators.

Did I read well...? Can't you do the translation? What about those big translations from japanese supplemental material then? All this time you've been using online translators? Please explain this to everyone.

We hire professional translators (with moniez) to translate all that stuff now. Our resident translators usually don't have time, and I have yet to learn Japanese myself.

Thanks for clearing that up. I always thought you were the one translating.

I wish! Right now all I can really do is get basic information from text, not full translations. Hopefully I'll learn soon enough though.

Because they only know him as Alex, not Alex Wesker. Chris doesn't find out about Project W until the file he reads on the bridge at the climax of RE5. The test subject file on Spencer's computer is too vague to make the connection at that stage I feel.

You do kind of have to wonder why Chris and/or the BSAA wouldn't open an investigation into this island base and the supposed "immortality" virus, though.
