GameInformer published the 2010 list of Top 50 video games series of all time by The Guinness World Records Book. Resident Evil is at position #12, surpassing big franchises like Half-Life and FIFA, with Halo winning the first spot. The results are based on a poll answered by 13,000 regular gamers.

I mean Lego Batman is on this list. It is a single game in the Lego series, not a series of it's own.

Yeah this list is terrible. They just polled random people. Half the games aren't even series anyway they are just a single game. Like said above. ^

It was based on an online poll. And like V for Valentine said 4chan rigged it so Halo would win. They did it because of the 'halo is a pretty cool guy' meme.

yeah, i saw that on a magazine rack a while back, i was all 'bs' when i saw HALO was in the top spot, but at least RE is in the top 15 (YAY!)
How annualy is this poll taken? Every year isn't it? I doubt HALO is gonna get even in the TOP 5 next time. ... unless, of course, if 4chan rigs it again
