Capcom has unveiled "Biohazard 4 Mobile Edition for Beginners" on the Japanese iTunes App Store. The game content is identical to the previous release of Biohazard 4 Mobile Edition on the iPhone/iPod touch platform, but the individual chapters are now broken up into separate buyable parts, at ¥115 each compared to the ¥800 price of the original. If you're interested in trying the game, but do not want to commit to the ¥800 pricing, then this is the way to do it. The official launch date was February 15, 2010.

Why the hell would I be jealous.Im fed up with these stupid ports.Im not the only one.look at the previous posts.This game is a perefct example that Capcom has nothing better to do other than milking this game.They should be making a new mobile game,not no damn re-release.

I'm making a point that Capcom DOES have better things to do than milk Resident Evil 4: Mobile Edition.

I'm not going to go overboard just yet, but it is getting a bit tedious that they've released this title umpteen times, yet the only other one that has seen love is REmake. Now, before you go all Hiroshima on me, I mean by the attention payed to the particular game. Sure the other's have had ports, but nothing like the *snicker* complete global saturation that re4 has brought. I'm surprised they haven't tried to put it on one of those new "old school" controllers with some other games from way back when like atari is doing.

I'd agree that there are other games in the series that could do with some attention, but Resident Evil 4 is the series' mainstream highpoint so that's the basket that Capcom will put their eggs in for now...the only other place i can see this game popping up anytime again soon is now the PSP Minis range.

But personally, as firmly in the RE4 HD camp as i am...i really don't see an episodic release of an iPod game being all that much for people to get worked up about.

Resident Evil is a beast now, there'll be a demand in some quarters for the franchise on the move, and Resident Evil 4: Touch Edition fits the bill...just (only let down by controls). Failing that, there's still Degeneration on the App Store as well.

The only thing more tiresome than these ports is the whining kids like HecRPD going on about the game being milked...it's ridiculous that it still needs explaining to these people that franchises will always get milked because these companies nine times out of ten are about making money, not pleasing their customers.
