Rebecca's voice is perfect. That's how she was in the original and I 100% love it. I always liked Rebecca a lot and thought she was a great char. She was far better than Barry (to me) and one of many highlights of playing Chris' scenario.

Remake and Zero Rebecca (especially remake though) has ZERO personality and life in her. She sounds bored most of the time and like she's a drug addict with zero emotions left in her veins. I can't stand that version of Rebecca. I like my Rebecca being spunky and high energy and hilarious. Not dull, boring, and monotone.

Blasphemy! RE Zero Rebecca is amazing.

Zero Rebecca isn't as bad, she has 'some' emotion there. She's tolerable at least. Remake Rebecca though sounds like a hooker who's with a guy she is completely disgusted with and can't wait for it to be over so she can collect her money and get the hell out of there.

As of 9pm central the ps3 update is available as well.

It's live for the Japanese version too. The game prompts you to create a "2.0 save" for LIN and here's what it looks like:

As far as any other changes in the main game, it's unaltered for the most part. There was less judder in the assembly but the game is still triple buffered.

I recon the size difference between the 360 and PS3 patch is purely a cost measure. The bandwidth charges on the PS3 DLC content will be higher than costs that are associated with gameplay patches than compared to the subsidies put in by Microsoft for all content due to XBL.

IE. This PS3 update probably contains some of the DLC content data so Capcom do not have to pay excess bandwidth once the DLC content actually launches, thus making more profit off the PS3 DLC than they would have. A little for each download, but a lot overall.

That's part of it and data on the PS3 is always less compressed and. There is data that lets you create a new save data as well so it all adds up.

She's forgiven. However, she doesn't need to sound like she overdosed on drugs, hasn't slept since 1981, and is bored beyond belief.

Like I said, in Zero she's tolerable. But, in Remake her actress sounds like she's just reading lines after a night without much sleep. And she comes off like she thinks of her job doing rebecca's voice is beneath her and just 'some stupid video game' so she need not take it seriously, so she just has her elbow up on the podium and her head resting on her hand while she flips tiredly through the pages and drudingly reads the lines off of them in as monotone a voice as she can possibly muster since effort is too much to ask for.

Not saying that's how the actress actually took the role but that's how it SOUNDS when you hear Rebecca speak in Remake.

Wow, i actually liked the remakes VA for Rebecca the most.
