If I recall, Sven on unity said it was the E3 demo with Leon/Jake scenarios but no Chris. He didn't specifically say no chris, he just said leon/jake which implies about the same either way.

Regardless, two scenarios to play is more than I expected to get. I figured it would just be Leon's. So alls good.

The E3 demo had all three scenarios. I saw the selection screen in one of the Unity streams.

I just won't get the demo, because I'll be downloading it for 3 hours and the demo will be over in 30 minutes....

You also won't be downloading it because it's not on your PS3 for ages yet, don't forget that.

I don't give two shits about the demo lock out. Even if it came out in however many days it come on the 360, I probably might consider getting it while I spend hours downloading the chronicles, which isn't even on the 360

I won't be buying Biohazard 6 because it takes 120 days to come out and will last less than 20 hours.

I'm not "Playing" the demo because I don't BUY demos.

Demos should be free plain and simple.

FYI: I say that because majority of people that will be playing this demo are only doing so because they fell into DD's trap and essentially bought a demo.

I fully intend on putting some serious time into DD, but yes I had the spare cash at the time and wanted the demo. However, I do agree with you that demo's should be free. I think Capcom is trying to get to that next level of greed.

Only 30 minutes of gameplay? The Re5 demo was even shorter than that but I played the living crap out of both the japanese version and later the US version all the way from dec. when the jap one first released until feb when re5 released.

If the re6 demo indeed has 3 scenarios to screw around with (and has online multiplayer like the re5 demo did) you can rest assured that '30 minutes' of a demo will get dozens of hours of use out of me up until Oct. :P

And hell, regarding how long it takes to d/l. I remember when i got my second dreamcast after my brother had stolen mine and I couldn't afford to replace all of my DC games he had stolen as well. So I went and d/l'd Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 on a 56k modem that probably only did 28kps on a good day.

Took 2 days straight of non-stop d/l'ing just for SA1. And that was for a game I had already played and beaten numerous times. Still was worth it until I was able to buy a new copy of both games later on.

But, different strokes for different folks I suppose :P

Picked up Dragon's Dogma for a respectable £20 at Morrisons today. That will do for me as I will get hours of enjoyment inspecting each nook and cranny of the demo and then trade it in for £15 in a few weeks time. £5 is essentially what I'm paying for the demo which I'm fine with given the extended length it is going to be.

I'll give DD a whirl but its just not my type of game. I bought it for the demo. Sue me.
