I recently just copped this from some dude for 5 bucks off the internet in my town came in a big box and everything but i just wanted to let you all know that this version of re2 does include the infamous Nightmare mode that the DC version has and IMO its freaking AWESOME so those of you that have not got to experience nightmare mode because you lack a dreamcast cop the PC version as an alternative!

RE2 Platinum has some compatibility errors with XP and beyond. I have trouble trying to get the game to work at all on my machine.

Look for the Japanese Sourcenext port instead, released on DVD in 2006. Pretty tough to find an actual copy of, mind. Most of the text is in Japanese, but you can play with both US and JPN enemy patterns on top of having Hard mode available. There's also compatibility fixes. Works like a snap on Vista/7.

One of the first times I discovered Nightmare Mode, couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous it was.

Was one of the most fun play through's I've had with the series.

I love this mode..

even though it is incredibly hard with some practice i managed to pull off this score and YES this is nightmare mode score.. i can upload video to prove but i used the machine gun this is Leon A run
