So, I have 5 bucks left on my wallet in the PSN store that I'm looking to blow. Problem is, I'm torn on what to get; Desperate Escape, or the Versus multiplayer pack. Which is the better buy? Do people still play Versus/Survivors? I've yet to play either, the only DLC I've ever purchased for RE5 was LiN. Help me decide!

Desperate Escape by a long shot, I bought Vs two years after RE5 was released when looking to blow some money, played it once, hated it. Some people are into it though, but watch some videos to get a feel for what your getting into if you buy Vs. Playing with randoms is horrible from my experience.

That's not even a serious question, everyone knows the better choice is...wait hang on...i thought you'd quit the board??

I do love a dramatic exit before they return a week later.

Desperate Escape hands down. Professional in that is better than the main game.

Like everyone said, get Desperate Escape. Versus is just a lame excuse for such a mode.

Contrary to popular opinion, I think Versus is the best mode in RE5 as I've logged over 1,000 hours on it. Its a lot of fun, but, only if you enjoy it for what it is and don't expect it to play like other shooters.

Regardless, DE is probably your best bet because its storyline related and is in fact a lot of fun.

Many people still play Versus yes, but, its mostly vets at this point who will destroy you left and right before you can do anything. And Vs has an extremely high learning curve.

So its likely you wont enjoy it going into it this late it its life.

Perhaps one of you could help me with a D.E playthrough once I go for it on vet and pro? Better than going at it with randoms.

If I had it for ps3 I'd gladly help but I still only own it on xbox. (Two copies of the game none the less >_>)

Pro Mode is a bitch though. Probably single hardest thing you'll ever do in any existing RE game. Well, if you're hoping for a half decent score and to actually get through it legit anyway. Otherwise you can just rush run through it and keep mashing on resucitates until you clear it. But, that's pretty boring and annoying either way. But, if you're just aiming for the trophy like most, that's what they do.
