Yes, I really think this user is a bad moderator. Why? He constantly contradicts what other moderators do and puts his feud with Stu above all. Most notably the recent postings in the Member Photo Album thread where he continued the drama even after Mr.Rod said twice to stop it. He could have PM'd Stu if he wanted. That's not exactly how moderation works, is it?

Also, I reported his post at that thread because it really didn't do anything postivie to the topic and, almost magically, it was closed a few minutes later. It would be really unprofessional if he was the one who closed it. Can you Yama or the other mods check that?

Aren't you contradicting your own post with this topic? Wouldn't it have made more sense to PM Yama or Rod this instead of trying to make a public spectacle of it?

This forum is for asking questions and suggestions regarding the site. So, answering your question, no I'm not. I'm simply speaking my mind and wondering why my report was closed, likely by the moderator in question.

If you have unfinished businesses with Stu, that's your problem. The purpose of this thread is to express my discontent with Sunglasses At Night's moderation style, regardless of Stu or anyone else. He was only an example of recent happenings.

Read your own writing. You're calling him out for not doing anything positive and saying he could have PM'd his issues rather than cause further drama.

Yet, that's EXACTLY what you're doing, stirring up crap of which NOTHING POSITIVE WILL COME FROM IT rather than PM'ing your concerns to Yama and Rod, aka the ONLY two people that need worry about Sun in the first place, not the entire site.

It just seems like it's you who has unfinished business with a user on the site and are just trying to start a problem. Like I said, kindly drop it and keep it to PM with Yama or Rod instead of making call out topics which will only result in arguments and drama.

I'm sure if there were any mod issues, Yama would have handled it already. You and Stu seem to be the only ones who have problems with the mod in question. As Ikari said, a pm would have sufficed. A call out thread is a bit much, don't ya think?

@Ikari: You are the only one so far having a problem with the thread and even telling the mods to close it. My intention is to express my disgust, nothing less nothing more. Please don't blow this out of proportion.

I have PM'd them before about this moderator but no action was taken, neither did I get a reply. The next logical step was making a thread.

Now please let's drop this and let the mods/Yama talk. If they think we should leave this to PMs or other mediums I'll be happy to follow their say.

If they felt it was worth addressing when you PM'd them, they would have. If they haven't, it's for a reason. The fact that Yama himself posted in the topic in question, saw what sun did, posted his response and yet Sun is still a mod already speaks mountains about his feelings on the matter and therefore makes your topic entirely pointless.



They already do think you should leave it to PM. That's what the report button is for. When you have a problem you hit report on the post in question, give your reason and let the mods do what they see fit to do about it. You don't go making topics to call people out on it.

If you have a problem with the leniency of mods and how they handle the various problems around here, there's already a "Moderation Woes" topic for this stuff where you can address your concerns without making an entire topic with someone's username in it to shit stir.

If the guy has a problem with anything on Biohaze, whether you agree with him or not he has EVERY right to post about it in the relevant forum - that is what this part of the forum is for.

This way he even gives Sunglasses the right of reply - rather than being a total bitch over-reliant on hitting the report button the moment his knickers get in a twist.
