With the upcoming release of Dead Rising 2 and it's subproperties Case Zero and Zombrex, it is a wonderful time to open up a new forum based on the 'sister-series' from Capcom. Members can also utilize this forum to talk about the original game/s. Feel free to make some new topics and hop in, with the upcoming titles releasing this summer there should be a lot to discuss!

Because it's not a Capcom game (sorry, lol), nor is the series relevant in the past seven years. Just my opinion of course, I once loved it as well.

One thing I wouldn't mind, if everyone was willing to participate, would be a general horror game section. Then you'd have discussion for Silent Hill and hopefully a ton of obscure horror titles, thus allowing us to expand our horror libraries quite a bit.

I've personally played some whacky games that I know haven't been localized nor on popular systems. I would enjoy sharing impressions, reviews and even media if there were an interesting place to do so.

I would like this very much. :D I love horror games/movies so it would be great to do that. Instead of just digging through the general discussion forum.

What a good idea. I assume you'll still be keeping the Dino Crisis section, although it is very inactive now and that cannot be helped. As Yama pointed out, it goes without saying that the series has died as a result of Dino Crisis 3 being a massive failure.

May I suggest a Silent Hill section as well? A new Silent Hill game and movie is due out at some stage, and Silent Hill has way more fans than Dead Rising or Dino Crisis has put together. It would possibly help Biohaze gain some new blood (no new members who post much have been here every day).

I know you'll probably be getting similar requests for other sections, kind of like what they do on the horror blog, Hell Descent. However they are just that - suggestions! And probably decent ones @ that!

Nice game, but no much what resident evil

Is Dead Rising like Resident Evil? I've only played a confusing demo.

No. The only thing in common is the zombies and both are made by Capcom. Totally different types of game.

Okay this is great an all but what makes Dead Rising worthy of a sub-forum and not Devil May Cry. DR and RE have Capcom and zombies in common that's it. DMC1 was a RE game then changed. It is a true spin-off as much as Dino Crisis is.

I am just looking for a bit of an explanation here. Oh and Yama I love the general horror idea.

Honestly, it has more to do with DR prospering and DMC seemingly going downhill. If DMC was in full bore at the moment, I'd consider it. Also the themes of DR and BH are a little more similar I suppose, despite DMC being 3.5 at one point. Just no need for it really, that's all it comes down to. Dino Crisis was literally a Biohazard spin off and DR is the current and future Capcom zombie game, after Biohazard of course.

Kind of a bump, but it did remind me of the general horror forum. I'd very much like this. No sub forums per game series, just threads.
