No hard feelings with Sony. They didn't hack their own systems and I am sure if anyone had info stolen, they'd be reimbursed. Now If you'll excuse me, I have a shit won of downloads to get.

I was just teasing Agent Wong, but it seems we're going without online for a bit longer. We're still having problems over here. I managed to get online this morning, sync'ed my trophies, let a friend of mine know it's back and saw him come online, and then chatted to a few people. I logged out to reconfirm the password on my UK account and couldn't get in, then I couldn't get back into my local one either.

Looking around online seems it's back down for everyone, somehow it seems the servers for the SCEE regions are being overloaded by demand and they're having to fix that too. Oh well. I'm not fussed, I'm happy I got my trophies synced in case my PS3 dies again, other than that I'll just go back to single player games again for now. Provided the store is up and running by Friday so I can cash in my LA Noire DLC I'll be happy.

BTW - You should be able to use the 2 day trial on MK without the store apparently, if I read correctly. I've saw quite a few people online playing it when I was online. I'm unsure how many of them had activated it the day before the network went down though.

Well, I'm getting frustrated with the damn store myself, I wanna own the ladder in MK with my Klassic costumes haha. I'm thinking about getting LA Noire myself so I would want it up for that as well. I'm curious why they didn't bring that up with the network.

They said early on the store won't be back online for a bit longer. I expect probably not until Wednesday here (Tuesday in the States) which is when it's usually updated anyway. At the earliest anyway.

I think the other issue is that this push on the network now it's up and running will have them thinking about how best to deliver the welcome back packages. If everyone is trying to download free games and PSN+ content the network is going to be horrible to be on... the fact they're having issues with connections (and password resets and the like) does not bode well for that.

My PSN back on did the password bit 1st on computer then updated and logged in.Shocked that I got it right to be honest.No store yet though think that's coming back on later.

I can't wait for the HD remake of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. Having never owned an Xbox, I missed out on this gem. I've also heard way too many negative things about the PC version to bother trying it-- I don't want to ruin the experience. It's been a while since I've touched my Ps3, now that PSN is back up I may have to go fire up some good ol' MGO.

I want to ask...

Has anyone here ever tried to use a U.S. PS1 in the UK using a voltage changer? I got one of these but my American PlayStation failed to turn on after I plugged it in. I was pretty bothered by it, because I must have paid $70 for it, inc. additional postage costs. Without actually being in America, I cannot play games like Parasite Eve or Juggernaut in the UK.

Why not just run the games in an emulator? you get the advantage of increasing the resolution to whatever you want, so the games should look pretty sharp.

All you'd need is a usb gamepad/adapter.

Any news on when the store will be up? i have a lot of codes to redeem lol.

Just received a tweet a few minutes ago from Playstation regarding the rest of the services not restored, including the Store and Qriocity.
