The problem is that unfortunately the access to all those bonus contents such as free DLC, minis and PSOne classics (excluding discounted content obviously) downloaded during the subscription period terminates at the end of the subscription period.... this is just meh

Well, until it's renewed. Which is sorta fair enough. But i can see Sony changing that particular side of things.

Big Stu, mind your manners. Just because you're already on everything doesn't mean everyone else is too.

No one cares if you're signed up for a service on a console that you don't even own.

Ya this is kinda dissapointing. But I think they do it so that users dont simply sign up for it speratically just because theirs a good deal going on at the time.
IE. User finds out that if you sign up you receive a downloadable full version of a Little Big Planet for free(like they are doing right now) Then once the user is signed up he also downloads everything he wants from the store at discount, gets his 4 free games for the month, maybe a movie and also all the other extras like Avatars and Dynamic themes and also DL's/ signs up for some exclusive beta of Final Fantasy 14.
Then the user just cancels and retains all that free stuff? Shit I think everyone would do that atleast a few times a year! I know I would.
What really does suck though is for the users that signed up for one year and got everything they wanted out of the service. They like it, they wish they could re-sign up, but they simply dont have the money or are fine to stay with regular PSN for a few months until they work up the cash.
For that period of time they wouldnt be able to acess their free Plus content anymore.. but you'd still actually be able to keep the content that you paid for at discount atleast. But I guess we have to take it for what it is. When you are a member and signed up, its a hell of a deal for the active PSN user.
Im not sure if ill be signing up right away, but eventually I will.

If they can get some exclusive beta and other exclusives I think I would subscribe. I think I will wait awhile before I jump at this. So they can get the ball rolling with good stuff. I am sure at the start the freebies will be stuff I already own, they mentioned WipeoutHD which I already have. Although if you sub now (for one year) you get 3 extra months free. Which is great and makes me want to throw the money down right out the gate. I am sure eventually they will give bonuses to loyal subscribers.

Oh and just for the record, this totally wrecks XBL Gold. In so many ways. Love it.

Ya its almost like..

Sony: Ya I know im not perfect but......... What? You want to give us money? Ok wow thanks.. heres a bunch of free shit. Just keep giving us money and we`ll keep giving you free shit all the time. And discounts. Maybe I can afford to fix some more things here and there so you can use me easier. I love you too.

Microsoft: Oh whats that? You say you want to actually use your systems features? Give me your fucking money. And do it next year too bitch. Actually give it to me for about 7 years. Peace!

Nintendo: 18392048372..... FUCK!$%&@

For the $500 and $600 initial MSRP (and more in PAL regions), free online is the only way reason anyone played multiplayer games on the thing. Had they charged for online play, I would've kept the 360 and used the PS3 for exclusives and BD.

PS3 Online >>>>> XBL. One simple reason, a hell of a lot less people with mics. I just want to play the game I don't want to hear people talking about whatever and you know the classic 12 year olds chaining every known curse word together for no reason.

Less mics = a happy enjoyable online gaming experience for me. Sure mics CAN be an asset but they are mostly not used properly.
