Halo: Reacharound

Come on, least I didn't opt for the cliche route and say "Gaylo".

Most of my money has gone into a trip to Turin next week but yeah, i'll get on it as soon as i can!

You could always combine the two, get the best of both worlds.

For if I was immature I could say it, but instead I will just urge people to play Black Ops over anything Halo related.

Nah, "Gaylo" is uninspired.

I perfer games that have depth and skill gap. Fact is, any good Halo player can go on B.O. and completely go off. Any COD kid who comes on Halo gets destroyed and butt hurt. One game has skill gap, execution and mind games, the other is a.d.d. instant gratification.

Wong likes B.O., but I'm sure he and every other knowledgeable individual with some experience in both will attest to this.

And a double rolly eyes for saying anything Halo related, as if it can hold a candle to something like C.E. Hilarious stuff right here.

I harbour disdain for both CoD and Halo.

Team Fortress 2 on the other hand...now that's a decent shooter. Both CoD and Halo encourage a game style of camping, a 'me first' mentality where it's all about kills. I'd rather play something that's more varied, a team focused effort where people have to work together.

Anyway, currently playing Borderlands with some friends.

Competitive Halo is nothing you just said. I've played at tournaments and with those who made nationals, I understand and have competed at a pretty high level. Trust my words, it is nothing like that.

Team based is a ton of call outs and cooperative play, plus tourney legal maps usually contain little to no camping, as there are multiple ways to access every area (ala Lockout). The game is more akin to a fighter than a basic FPS actually, it has a ton of depth and trickery. Something it also has the none of the others do are exciting, fast paced 1v1 matches. You don't get much more competitive variation elsewhere.

With that said I respect TF2 and what it stands for, good game. Just it's as different to Halo as Halo is to COD, don't ever mention them next to each other.
