Red Dead Online is fun when you get into a lobby with a lot of people with mics. Otherwise there isn't all to much to do. I've had some awesome times playing with my friends in a posse though.

I finished Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus. It was fantastic. The second disk is a lot harder, almost as hard as Oddysee at times. I managed to save 292 out of 300 Mudokons, 8 short of 300!

Some of the backgrounds in the Soulstorm Brewery area have a massive sense of scale to them.

I'm gonna have to pick up Oddworld: Munche's Oddysee some time. But for now, I'm playing Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, then Red Dead's Single Player.

I've never played Munch's Oddysee or Stranger's Wrath, but I plan on picking up Munch's some time.

And yeah, the second disk can be murder at time. Mostly the secret areas. There's this one secret area where you have to run around through meat grinders and pull several switches before some fleeches eat the mudokons, and then go rescue them before they get hit by a meat grinder. Never saved them, don't think I ever will.

I remember that bit. I thought it was going to be so hard. But on my, I think 7th try I got lucky and all the fleeches fell onto a meat grinder as they were chasing me. Actually that's probably the strategy there, just bait them onto the meat grinders. So I saved everyone.

Did you ever manage to do the ones right near the end were the Mudokens are all wired by the happy gas, and there are several separate puzzles that involve getting them past Sligs, Greeters and Fleeches? I managed to figure it out without getting anyone killed but it took so long. It felt so good when I did it. I was trying for all 300.

I picked up Munch's Oddysee for about $9 the other day. It seems ok I just hope it works in 3D. Will have to play it soon.

But I've been playing Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood. This game is beautiful, it's about on the same level as Uncharted or Killzone 2. I can't believe I'm playing this game on a 360. It really blows me away some of the views and textures in this game. The gunplay in this is also extremely fun, dual wielding has never been so fun. Forget Halo or MW2's dual wielding, this nails it head on. It's amazingly fun and the tech involved with how the guns work is mind blowing. Makes COD's FPS mechanics seem archaic in comparison. I just love watching how the guns move and shoot, perfect weapon animations and a beautiful game with great shooting mechanics.

There are some problems though. Some of the voice acting is pretty bad. And sometime the game takes away control of the camera. And there are a few small minor issues as well, but nothing that a sequel can't fix. If those things are all fixed in COJ3 and this game gets a good advertising campaign, Modern Warfare 3 has no chance.

I've never played the first game, but I heard it was pretty bad, that's the only reason I can think of as to why the sequel hasn't gotten any attention at all. I guess people just skipped on it. Which is sad. This game is really good fun.

My girlfriend bought me a copy of Dead Rising for my birthday, so I'm playing it right now.
I'm not new to DR though, I played it a lot at my friend's house 3 years ago but I never had the chance to finish the story, so this is a good way to replay the entire game and finally enjoy the story before Case Zero and DR2 are out this summer.
I must admit it's a very challenging game but delivers a lot of fun and even if it's a 4 years old game it doesn't look visually dated at all.

I finished Call of Juarez. It was probably one of the most unique FPS's I've played in quite a long while. I enjoyed it a lot. I love it's non linearity as well. Almost every level is set out in a way that there are multiple ways to accomplish things. There are some completely free roaming levels too witch have some amazing views and landscapes, it's a beautiful game. I liked the story too, and the characters grow on you and so do their accents. Physics and technology are put to great use in this game too. I recommend this to anyone who likes Westerns or FPS's.

And now I started Red Dead Redemption's single player mode. I love this game. First sandbox game this generation I've enjoyed. It's about as good as the GTA3 trilogy. I love the characters and the writing is phenomenal, the size and scope and sounds of this world Rockstar have forged is mind blowing. John Marston is probably Rockstar's best protagonist yet, I think I might like him more than CJ or Tommy Vercetti so far. I haven't left New Austin yet, I've been dividing my time up between doing main missions and just roaming the landscape exploring and doing side quests for strangers and hunting. I love the randomness of this game too. I was walking down the main street of Armidillo and some Walton's Gang members hogtied a man and rode down the street with him trailing behind.

You can shoot gangs or any animals that are attacking people etc. to get your fame meter up. Word of advice though, if you're up in the north, watch out for ninja animals.. including bears (who would've known a 300lbs+ animals can be so quiet.. )

Yeah I got attacked by a ninja cougar, killed my horse and I shot it afterwards, and once I was just running around and my horse dropped dead, I think it was bitten by a snake.

There was a standout moment yesterday, I had just stopped to skin a dear and two cowboys passed me by, then about 4 wild boars come charging out of nowhere and rammed the two cowboys killing their horses and then the cowboys started shooting and chasing them, and one of the boars charged me and flipped Marston up right over its back.

I'm trying to be pretty good in the game, barely broken the law at all outside of missions. Except once I heard shooting nearby and saw a man being chased and shot at, so I fired at the pursuers but they turned out to be federal marshals. Had to pay of the bounty.

It's lovely when it rains though, the the desert is filled with puddles of water, I can only imagine how painstaking it was to make this game. Meticulous research of the era promoted in the trailer was spot on.

Can't say I have. But it's been a long time since I've played Exoddus, I don't remember that part.

Currently playing RDR. I love this game so much. Am I the only one who can just run into people and have fun for hours?
