I appreciate Biohaze as a natural spoiler free Resident Evil zone. I just worry that some jackass or a new member who doesn't know the rules will somehow spread the spoilers outside the designated thread. The risk just seems too big.

How about a locked area for RE6 spoilers... and only give the password to said area to those who ask for it...

so that way we can keep things regulated and orderly...

A spoiler dedicated thread would be good.

Yeah an early release this far out isn't, but the norm of any new title is leaks do seem to start making their way out up to a couple of weeks before actual release.

I vote for the thread, mostly because at least it encourages discussion in one place rather than some new registered member putting it in a topic because they didn't notice they weren't supposed to post. I mean there is still the risk some asshat will post spoilers anywhere, but this at least lowers the risk.

And then the thread can be used as a spoiler discussion topic for a while after the game comes out anyway for anyone who's possibly not getting it on day 1 (there are a few PC owners I can think of who are having to wait a month or so, plus the game doesn't launch everywhere on the 2nd - Japan/Asia release is the 4th of October, and Australia and NZ is the 5th).

Keep a topic separate. If people want to avoid spoilers anyway then they should be offline regardless. They will leak on forums be it here or elsewhere. It is only a matter of time.

Problem is a lot of people excited for this game have no self control and want to keep glancing at the spoilers so they think it'll be better to just avoid them all around. Well good luck I guess. But it's not going to make much of a difference.

And I don't need to say this, but RE6 has all but had this game spoiled already without the game being released in Poland. All the trailers and previews. The contents inside their demo. The leak of each character. The bulk of this game is out there. People that want to play it will do so.

I would like to try keep the site spoiler free until the game is released, mainly because I like to casually browse the forums and this is the only site I really look at. So if the game is going to be spoiled for me, its going to be here lol.

I would of gone with the thread option but even when we had the "demo hack thread" spoilers still made it out into other threads. I did appreciate them being in spoiler tags tho, but I wouldn't mind if a spoiler thread was created as long as the conversation stays in the thread. I'm ok with either one.

If we end up getting the dedicated thread all I ask is that theres a warning stuck up in other sub forums to make sure people keep that shit in the thread. I know it seems uneccessary but there are some huge dumbasses on the net.
