I haven't seen a topic here regarding Dead Space 3, so I went along and made one ^_^.
Dead Space 1 & 2 are one of my favorite games and I'm highly anticipated for the next installment.
So far until E3, we only have speculations. Such as: Co-op, gun-wielding Necromorphs (Some state they are humans) and an ice planet setting. I'd love to hear everyone's opinion on the speculations thus far and continue as more and more information is revealed. Personally, I'm not a fan of co-op in Dead Space and the gun-wielding idea frustrates me as much as it did in RE5. But I  Dead Space and I have faith that they will implement this to work. Here's to hoping

~I'd also love to hear any new concepts you'd like to see in the game or old concepts brought back, such as the workbench which apparently has changed.

For the mean time here are the links regarding:
Co-op

New Enemies/Returning characters

Probably going to check it out though the 2nd didn't meet all my expectations. The snow world reminds me of John Carpenter's the Thing so plus points for me. Hope the co-op is optional...

I LOVED the first two games as well. I am a bit worried at how they are going to handle co-op though.

One thing I know for sure is that Visceral Games is a great developer. They are constanlty asking for feedback and connecting with fans of the first two games to get there opinions. So I have faith in them as a developer that If they put co-op in it will be done properly.

Perhaps there could be a separate co-op mode from the regular campaing mode. I for one hope they expand on the game's multiplayer. I loved the multiplayer in the second game.

Hope they can keep the horror.
2 was gear a lot toward action, similar to re5 did...
it turned the original horror to fear

horror =/= fear imo, although both share a similar relation

Like i said when I finished Dead Space 2, they are going down the same road RE is on and it looks like I'm right.

So after everything that happened at E3 regarding this game, I'm offically unhyped. The co-op looks terrible and the whole game looks like a Lost Planet rip off.

WTF? Like why is this now a 3rd person cover shooter?? Stupid.

Also there's no competitive multiplayer which I really enjoyed in Dead Space 2 and am REALLY going to miss.

They've also changed the weapon and ammo system but won't talk about it yet.

The only good news from this is they keep saying over and over that you DON'T have to play co-op. So maybe if it's done right it will turn out well. But E3 really killed it for me. :(

I personally loved the trailer, sure it is a bit worrisome initially but I think it was the first trailer made to just gear towards a lot more of an audience as a "cool" trailer. Im sure they wont drop the survival horror, and i thought Dead Space 2 still had a great mix.
