Just 2 more games for me and I'm done for awhile- Gears 2 and Left 4 Dead. Ahh the corpses of my victims will litter the streets!

I dont mean to rain on your bloody parade, but I can understand why some people would like Gears of War. I dont though. To me it just seems like a game with blatant violence for the sake of violence. I understand it may have a story, but it seems very understated and doesnt come across to me very well. I think it's games like this that actually hinder the perception of games as art and show people it's a "teh murder simulator" which I dont believe myself but most other people would.

To be fair, i couldn't give a shit what other people think of a game just as long as i'm enjoying it. The gameplay in Gears is a dream, and i look forward to more.

If its as terrible as the first game then I'm not interested. I like bullets coming out of the gun when you pull the trigger, not 10 minutes later.

I enjoyed the first game even though Epic and Microsoft didnt care and still dont care about PC gamers. gameplay was fun and i really like the universe. i dont have a 360, wish i did but i am reading the comic book that just started and its really good.

Gears of War 2 is going to be a great with enemies as shield. Sweet

Yeah but the same could be said about any game that features guns though surely? Resident Evil would certainly be no different for example.
