the pawn system on the 360 does not require xbl gold to use. its been mention in dev interviews.

i kept trying to press x to roll and dodge thinking its like monster hunter :P
would be great if strider class has it, or maybe a later skill??
so far only in the beginning of the game. go into my first set of bandits and killed every1 except the warrior type. boy he kills me in like 1 heavy swing or 2-3 light attack...

mentioning about monster hunter, i thought i could be super human and jump of the cliff without a scratch. heh

Ah okay, I didn't know that about the 360 version.(I play the PS3 mostly, so Im a bit derp about that kind of thing)

It seems you can actually roll, but it's after the jump animation while running. Can't just roll to dodge aside from that unfortunately. As for some of the action commands and the harvesting, I really wish it was Monster Hunter style.

My partner mentioned he saw an extra slot for special pawn summons. Anyone think they'll release Capcom-themed character based pawns as dlc in the future? Would be kind of cool to have Dante/Nero as a fighter pawn, (insert Resident Evil character) as the strider class, and Breath of Fire characters as what have you. It wouldn't necessarily feel out of place in the story either, if you explain their appearance in the world by dimensional rifts.

You actually can recruit 2 more support pawns from rift stones or from ingame npc merc or whatever they call.
Capcom probably will release the dlc custome and ppl will make a main pawn with them on. Then you should be able to recruit them as support pawns when they post them up.
Check out the pawn community thing to search for specific pawns.

I surprised to hear such positive feedback for the game. When I saw the demo months ago it didn't look so great.

IMO, there's no way it could compare. The demo barely touches the surface of a fairly expansive and intelligently designed game. It would have been perfect had they added a direct multiplayer system.

Yeah, the demo was fun, but does not do this game justice.

It's weird to say-- it has some flaws, some that are aggravating at times, but I wholly suggest buying it, RE6 demo aside-- this game is a lot of fun.

As for the "special pawns" I saw something about that the other day when I started it up and for the first time there were some on the "Special Pawn" list.

Out of the five that were there, four of them were random obese guys, and the fifth pawn was a PERFECT, and need I say it again, PERFECT Lady pawn, from Devil May Cry. Called Lady.

I'm telling you, my jaw was agape when I saw it, it was amazing. Look her up if you can. Naturally, she's a strider.

Also, if anyone is interested in hiring my pawn, you can find it with my XLBA gamertag. If any of you want to do the same, you should say so

Pawn: Virbius (moniker: Vento)
Vocation: Strider
ImageImage (not current armor)
I haven't spent as much time to level him or much myself yet as my mate is happily dragging him around in areas 20 levels higher than my poor pawn should be in, and gifting him armor(Im sure Virbius is a happy pawn now). But feel free to play around with him. Speaking of that, I noticed that we could add each other as friends on the same PS3, and allow ourselves to trade each other's pawns. Which is pretty cheap. XD
Also my main character:

I was considering buying it the other day to play with my friend. But when I saw it was single player only I lost any and all interest in the game. Pawns do not suffice for me.

Thankfully my friends giving me his RE6 demo code though so I'm not missing anything.

Don't you need the disc to play the demo? That's what I've been hearing and considering the developer at hand, I expected nothing less.
