I'm seeing the 30th now as the release date for XBLM, but some are saying tomorrow still. Odd. Either way, it's up on Steam and will be released sometime today on Tell Tale and PS3 from what I gather.

Where do I begin?

This game is amazing.

The art style is top notch, the voice acting is really well done. The story is well writing with 2 little exceptions. They really went all out for you to really care for the characters, there's one moment that I won't spoil that is really emotional, I really felt sad. I really cared for these fictional characters... crazy right? and I'm not even done with the episode. I'm really looking forward for the rest of the episodes.

This was well worth the 5 bucks unlike that scam known as Operation Raccoon City.

Totally agree with you Vito. First chapter was sick, I already want to be playing the second chapter. I don't think there is anything else they could have done to make the first offering any better.

I just played about half of the first chapter today and it's an enjoyable game. I like the way it tells the story, sort of like a visual novel with choices. I wish there was more time to go through the dialogue options though. I just want a little more time to think about what I want to say. I can understand in a dire situation where a choice is supposed to be rushed but just when talking normally you only have like two seconds to get through four dialogue options.

Tried the demo from the UK store and enjoyed it. I'm going to have to buy this from that UK PSN store though... due to Australia's crappy rating system, the game won't be passed classification there and so due to the costs, even though we have a seperate system, it won't be released here for anything than via PC/Steam.

Someone help me, this game has left me close to tears twice! Is it possible to save the game? I've just died at the same point twice only to be dumped back at the title screen!

Aside from that i'm really enjoying it, so much more than i'd expected to. I won't spoiler it because it's so early in the game - but the two times i've played, the voicemail left by Clem's mum gave me chills. Not sure but i think they may have been slightly different each time as well?

The game autosaves as far as I know.

And yeah the voicemail is emotional.

The second episode releases by the end of the month.

Found out what was wrong, there's a "glitch" (not sure that's what it is, don't see it being something that'll be fixed either way) that stopped you from saving on a console which wasn't the one you originally downloaded the game from. But anyway...

What a SUPERB game. Not my usual thing at all, have never been one for point 'n' click games but this had me hooked. Whilst getting to grips with the lack of a save i was trying out different options on my playthroughs which kept it interesting.

Can't wait for episode two in a week or so's time.
