For the first time i think, i'm actually impressed.

11 minutes of gameplay footage here, looking pretty decent aside from a few dodgy animations here or there.

I'm pants at 1st person just carnt get the hands and gun to work how it should.Did okay on Riddick but had a shadow to work with.I'm with Yama Ali94Weaker I can kill things in 3rd person mode .

First impression of the fp view. It looks alot like cod zombie and the combo weapon nail bat, DR2 anyone?

Tho i do like the survival aspect. hope its live up my expectation when i get it. Planning to get the pc and ps3 ver :P

The only thing I don't like is the COD presentation, as in the ridiculously stiff arm FPS image. Funny gripe eh'?

Otherwise it looks pretty decent, if it lives up to half of what flatbush is making it out to be... I'll be satisfied. I'll give it a shot day one.

I must say I'm pretty impressed with what I've seen. Combines elements of Dead Rising and Left 4 Dead, all in a sandbox atmosphere. Environments look great too. I'm hoping (and assuming based on comments made in the video) that much of the game will be at night or in a storm. Just make a lot of it dark, being entirely well-lit can be a huge detriment on a game (cough *RE5* cough).

I like well lit you can see them coming a Radar type tracker might just be asking for a bit much.

Yeah. I think it will be taken placed at night and day, with it being an open world. I'm sure they'll be more stuff to do than just kill zombies. L4D really didn't get my interest cos there was nothing to really do in it besides shoot and run, but I'm kinda enjoying what I've seen of Dead Island.

Finally, an upcoming 4-player zombie game that I'm interested in. I like and play Left 4 Dead 2, but it's starting to show its age. This looks like it'll have everything I like in games and more. Sign me up.
