If only the Virtua Fighter engine was included, then I'd care.

VF5: Final Showdown is getting a Digital console release in Q3 2012 so, at least there's that. It's supposed to have full 8 player online lobbies with spectator mode etc. Looking forward to it.

Seems like the best place to ask this but what's everyone's thoughts on Tekken Tag Tournament 2?

Having played the prologue/demo version, I'd say the system updates from Tag 1 and T6 create an almost endless pool of possibilities. I love tag assaults in particular. Mind you, the first arcade version is definitely not as balanced as T6 but it is getting a major update (no word on balance issues) via Unlimited, which brings back 1 vs 1 and adds 1 vs. 2 as AND pair play.

If you fall with the "bound sucks" casual Tekken fan crowd, I don't think you'll think much of the game though. My personal gripe, as was the case with T6, is the gap between the arcade release and console. Yes, a year isn't that bad but this isn't the year 2000. NA players are the ones with the disadvantage here.

Keeping fingers crossed for a better home version. Outside the core game, the T6 home versions were atrocious as far as features go (even practice sucked).

Ever since the days of Tekken 3 there has been a single thought in my mind - Bryan Fury is the greatest man who ever lived in the lore of Tekken. He's a sexual tyrannosaurus.

TBH the new DOA models look great. They look like actual women this time, instead of animated porcelain dolls.

It says that everytime you say "G@y" which I think was implimented to prevent all the morons from saying "That's g@y", "How g@y" etc., given how popular the term is for moronic teens to use when they wanna say 'stupid' but wanna sound 'cool'. And obviously that's going to cause people to be offended. Because let's face it, if someone said "That's [insert your name here]" everytime they thought something was 'stupid', you'd probably be offended as well. But, it also prevents anyone from legitimately using the word as well.


Anyway, can't wait for Final Showdown. Maybe you and I will FINALLY get to play a versus match together Yama :P Otherwise there's always "Next time for sure!" ;)
