Perhaps Portal 2 could be some sort of Epilogue for what's to follow in Episode 3? There's already a wider scope for the storyline in the sequel from what we've heard at least.

Was the original Portal ever set in a specific timeframe? Just wondering if it was based centuries before the Half Life 2 story, since Portal 2 is hundreds of years after the first game? You're still controlling Chelle apparently, so it wouldn't be that obscene.

thanks for that. it made me smile quite a bit. wading through the water with the crowbar. mmmmmm, can't wait. i think it maybe time to play through the series again. (skipping Blue Shift, of course. I don't know why but BS does nothing for me. Its all about Opposing Force!!!)

Only a little over a year since it was announced and it's out! Not bad for Valve!

Going to play through the first game tonight in prep for picking the sequel up on 360 tomorrow. The reviews are through the roof so far, very excited!
