Not sure why the backlash? Compared to Homecoming this looks to be at least a step in the right direction. I'm definitely going to try it out. Looks more interesting to me than Dead Space 2, not a fan of playing errand boy.

Silent hill is a very sophisticated game, but the gameplay in the last 2 installment ruined my joy :( Downpou gotta be everthing!!!!

I hope that when they find an actress to play Heather in the next SH movie that she'll be more like her game counterpart. That's not going to be easy to do. I think it will be hard to beat video game Heather by doing it on the big screen for real because of how scared Heather was in the game.

And about Alan Wake being like SH... Well, I thought they had some similarities too. Like the forest near the lake. That just brought back the memories of James as he went to look for Mary.

I think Silent Hill in Multiplayer can be done.
Since we had women as an NPC before.
