I feel utterly disgusted with myself for not playing Saints Row: The Third sooner.

Started my first proper playthrough on GTA4 last week, and was enjoying it a fair bit - enough to keep going back to it anyway. So i rented SR last weekend just to tide me over and it blows GTA out of the water in every possible way!

Yea, Never played Saints before The Third, But, its such a fun game. And the missions get progressively more crazy and intense as the game progresses. Its a lot of fun. GTAIV was garbage by comparison for me.

Smashed through Saints Row: The Third in about four days - 77 of the 80 achievements in the space of five days tops. Most fun game i've played in a long time, already looking forward to the Dominatrix expansion now.

Next in the crosshairs is Max Payne 3. Grabbed a copy last night, trying my best to enjoy it but it won't load beyond a certain point.

By this point i'm quite mixed. Not a fan of the new settings, particularly when the shootout at the bar was done so well. Not a fan of the narrative over the top which seemed quite forced and far less subtle than i remember from the first two games - also the "glitched" nature of the cutscenes, totally pointless.

Did you install the game onto your hard drive? I've heard that some people who have the xbox 360 version and DON'T install the game have trouble with it loading at certain points.

EUGH. No i haven't - the X-Box i've been playing on in the living room only has the 4gb storage, the one in the front room has the 120gb hard drive so i'll try that one then!
