I've made this topic, because I'm afraid to triple post in the LittleBigPlanet creations thread.

Anyways, I just published a level called "Violent Awakening- Part 1". It's heavily inspired by Resident Evil, but not based on it. The level takes you briefly through the woods outside the mansion, and then through several floors of the mansion itself. There's lots of exploration involved, and even a few puzzles. Depending on which sections of the mansion you visit first, different enemies appear in different areas, along with various other changes. Ammo is severaly limited. Last of all, you get to go though the courtyard, and the level ends at this level's equivalent of the guardhouse. Note that this level can be pretty difficult at points, and because of my full use of all three layers, it can be a bit tricky to get around. Take your time with things, and getting around. Jumping blindly into stuff isn't the best idea.

Enjoy!

Well... You have LittleBigPlanet, right?

Just seach "Violent Awakening" under Community >> Search, and it should come up. If that doesn't work, search Elmerz_glue instead, and find it in my published levels. Hope you like it.

I never really play my ps3, only for RE, and I just started playing LBP, so I'm all new to it and excited :D I couldn't even figure out how to save my progress.

Cant wait to play it.

Now that I've finally found a way to get pictures from my Ps3 to my computer without a USB drive, here's some snapshots of the level, and a preview of the sequel.

Hopefully, now some people here will be encouraged to play it. I really do think that my fellow RE fans will enjoy it greatly.

Awesome work glue. If I had LBP I would definitely give this a try, it looks dark and foreboding !

That looks like it would be fun to play through. Good work!

If I had LBP, I'd play through it as well.

I definitely need to get this again. I've been downloading all the costumes and such. Not sure on when I'll have it again.

Thanks guys, it was a lot of fun making it, and it still is lots of fun working on the sequel. There's a Resident Evil 3-esque survival challenge minigame I made, I might post up some shots of that tomorrow. I was able to create a very life-like, zombie overrun city through use of the 3D layer glitch and sound (Although you can't see that).

Yeah Seraph, you really should get it again. Mr. Blue level was awesome, lol. And of course, it's lots of fun showing off your creations, and teaming up with others with the new(ish) online-create feature.
