Sorry A Nightmare's Requiem I don't think its acceptable.

It is I find THE most offensive word in the English language. Then again I stop and think that all a man has to do is grow a goatee and use that word then that is what they sound and look like.

The fact is the films should be better than what thay have been.I'm only hoping the next one can turn the tide.

- This nerd rage is simply amazing. Look what you've created Mr. Rod. All this hate against a franchise and its players. No wonder I am a god.

The movies are fine, just not good RE movies.

As movies in general, they stink.

second one was pretty good... no lie there... the 3rd one fucked it up... firs was... interesting to say the least...

and as i said, "If you felt the earth shaking and heard a high-pitched whine when the new Resident Evil Movie was released that was just good old Wesker spinning in his grave like a jet turbine..."

My main reasons for disliking the films:

- Milla just takes the lead role every film and puts any other character, including the game characters, in the back seat, when it should be the opposite.
- Psychic powers. This one really irks me. I think this was one of the stupidest things they added in the series. I'm sorry, a virus that turns others into other undead creatures, should not magically give you the ability to have super powers and telekinesis. I don't care what stupid logic is behind it.
- Clones. The clones that were introduced in the 3rd film was a god awful idea. Yay more Millas to hog more screen time! It seems Anderson thought it was terrible too, considering how he just killed them off in the first 5 minutes of afterlife.
- All the plot holes and inconsistencies, like the world being a dessert in 3, but there magically being trees back in Afterlife.
-Anderson has absolutely no idea what he's doing. This is more noticeable in Afterlife, when he gets rid of the clones and super powers within the first 10 minutes, as if he just didn't know what to do with them, even though it seemed like he was trying to set something up with them.
- Nemesis turning good and a talking tyrant, that has the ability to roar and explode a room.... Yeah, that's all I gotta say about that.
-Burrowing zombies that dig through cement, an executioner from RE5 randomly thrown into the mix with no explanation, Afterlife was almost entirely, terribly done slow motion shots, and the list goes on.
- No explanation for plagas... The zombies just sorta, evolved.... Sure why not!
- Anderson claims hes a fan of the games, but its obvious that he gives two shits about them. He'll occasionally throw in a game character/monster to appease the game fans, but then offers no explanation for them half the time, as if he just expects people to get it.
- They're terrible movies on their own, titled RE or not. The first two were OK, only OK, up until the end of 2 anyway. Then Extinction and Afterlife just absolutely destroyed what was left in my opinion. The movies should have ended when Milla got impaled on that helicopter at the end of Apocalypse, but they had to bring her back with super powers.

That's pretty much everything I can think of off the top of my head at the moment. I'm sure there's more small things I missed but yeah. The worst part about these films however, is that they keep making enough money to make sequels. No other video game movie series has gone on for so long. Really makes me question everyone who really enjoys these films, but also gives me faith that I wont have to try hard later in life, since I'm currently a film student.

I believe Spera01 just summed it up for me lol. That and I hate that Anderson claims to be the biggest RE fan in the world and yet he completely screws everything up. Yeah let's just kill Carlos, make Alice more badass than both Jill and Claire put together, kill off Leon, but bring him back in the 5th movie and throw in a random Executioner and Plagas zombies. OH! And let's not forget Chris being in the military...
