When the new RE Movie DVD set was announced earlier this year, it was listed as having both movies, the linking scene, another Extinction preview, and a free movie ticket to see Extinction.

So, in my anticipation to add another item to my fairly large Resident Evil collection, and get to see Extinction for free, I pre-order the DVD set off Amazon.

I got the DVD yesterday, open it up, to check the packaging out, and...

No movie ticket. What the hell? Let's see.. Get the DVD from GameStop, you get the movie ticket. Best Buy, get the movie ticket, along with a nice outer sleeve for the DVD case, and a bonus disc about the making of the first movie. Amazon? Neither. I've checked a few other sites, and they were listed as having the movie ticket as well.

So, what can I do? To be quite honest, this is the first time in my life I've ever been screwed by false advertising. Yeah, so Amazon didn't say anything on the item page about the movie ticket, but when it was announced as having one regardless months ago, it's still somewhat a form of false advertising.

Any ideas?

I doubt there would just BE a ticket in the case itself. Is there a number in one of the DVD booklets for you to redeem on a website somewhere?

There'll be a lot of people buying the set that WON'T use the movie ticket, so if whoever put the film out had just bought an infinite ammount of tickets for the film then they'd be losing a lot of money. Having a code or something similar to redeem online would've made more sense.

I know this is really off topic, but could you by any chance explain the linking scene?

No, the ticket should be included. A guy at Horror Is Alive, bought the set and it came with the movie ticket.

As for the linking scene, I haven't watched it yet. After testing the discs to make sure they were working okay, I just put it with my other RE stuff. I'll probably get more into it in a couple days or so, if you're still interested.
