It would be nice for any of us to get that rare uncut U.S. version that was accidently sold in stores. How did the few of these Resident Evil 1 games on Sega Saturn get uncut versions?

Do some uncut versions on Sega Saturn in U.S. have different SKU bar-code than normal versions with "01338220106"?
