What if in RE6 we see the return of Spencer. Since Wesker was consumed by Lava and 2 RPG's it would be a slap in the face to us for him to return again as the main Villain. Why not have Spencer re-emerge in a new form. Sure we think Wesker killed Spencer but maybe he was merely shedding his human form for a different one. This certainly would allow the return of the BOW's from previous games that we have been missing. Just a thought.

I think what capcom honestly needs to do is hire us for RE6, there are a crapload of good ideas, all of them put together and we would have a "fresh-epic-awesome" RE6
I agree. Hell I don't even need to be paid. As long as I got to contribute to bringing RE back to what RE was in the first place, I'd be a happy camper.

As long as it isn't, as rumored, a complete reboot like the new DMC, and it has a bigger emphasis on both survival and horror than RE5 did, I'll be content. I'd prefer a single player campaign with multiplayer game modes, but I could deal with a RE5-esque multiplayer component IF it tries less to be Gears of War, and tries more to be Resident Evil.

An important fact is that Resident Evil is confirmed to indeed be a prequel, set in 2013 Sequel you mean? :p
That's GREAT news. The prequel rumors were a bit disappointing, I want the story and characters to move forward, not take a step back.. Revelations is all the prequel we need.

How could Capcom screw up their own timeline? Hopefully they acknowledge their mistake in the coming months.

No it is prequel set in 2013. See in 2008 Leon hops into his time machine and travels to 2013 where he finds a world filled with BOW outbreaks, which is caused by the still alive Albert Wesker. The reason for this is Chris, who is no where near as buff as he was in RE5. Leon finds out that the reason Wesker escaped in 09 was cause a giant boulder blocked Chris' path, Chris was too weak to do anything about it.

So Leon travels back to 2008 and tells Chris that he needs to bulk up for his epic encounter with the boulder. Chris enters Rocky mode, trains for weeks non-stop on end and thus our version of RE5 takes place.

The whole thing with Milla marrying Anderson just makes me think they sit at home on the couch with a cup of coffee and a blank script thinking "How can we piss of fans with this one?" Definitely throw in more characters and creatures for the fuck of it. Oh and why not retcon the whole "Leon is dead" thing? Let's bring him back.

That just made me think of this:

Paul: Hmm, what else can we do that we haven't done yet with Alice.

Milla: *sips $7,000 imported cup of coffee non-chalant while stirring it with a crisp folded $100 bill* Well, I already blew people up with my mind, incerated dozens of crows by blinking, had dozens of clones of me, and beat up the Nemesis with my bare anorexic fists. I think the only logical next step is for me to fly around and shoot fucking lasers from my eyes.

Paul: Absolutely brilliant darling!

Milla: Now what can we do about the story. I don't think Alice is important enough in the movies. Claire got to fight the Executioner more than I did in the last movie. She was totally stealing my scene. That shoulda been me.

Paul: Well there is that bit in the first movie with Alice talking with Lisa and all in the past. Maybe we can expand on that and make Alice the founder of Umbrella and the origin of the T-virus from her own body which is how she bonded with it when no one else could. Then we'll have her finally remember her past and realize she was evil before and the source of pretty much everything in the world and she froze herself in a capsule for years after injecting herself with a finalized version of a new virus that would make her god of the world, I think one of the games did something like that no? The fans will love it. And the alice we've been seeing all along in these movies is actually a clone! And then alice will fight her evil self who has been unfrozen and has these amazing powers to fly around and shoot lasers from her fucking eyes and incinerate people just by waving her hands. It'll be Alice vs Alice in one huge climatic showdown of brilliant action packed laser spewing fun!

Milla: Don't we have to include some other stupid worthless characters from those lame ass games?

Paul: Well yes, but, we'll make sure to make them dreary and unimportant and give you all of their screen time just like the fans want.

Milla: Perfect. *takes another sip while shoving a $10,000 bill in her twat as a tampon*

Paul: *takes a dump in his $50,000 recliner slash gold plated toilet in his living room, then wipes his ass with a $1,000 bill* Alright then, I think the screenplay's done, we'll just wing in some action scenes to compliment our witty and dashing dialogue full of exclamations, explanations and orders and call it a day. Being a screen writer is hard work!

Milla: Oh poor baby, let me help you relax with a nice BJ. BTW, when's your contract with Sony and these RE movies up?

Paul: Another year or two, why love?

Milla: Oh no reason. So how much do I get if we ever....you know.... divorce? I mean just a hypothetical and all. Love you baby ;)

How about the biggest flaw of them all?

No toilets.

It would be the one time I think we'd see what 1080p pre-rendered backgrounds would look like, hence I'm all for it. I would like for it to be Rebirth's gameplay engine with a few tweaks such as OBF2's side step and such.

If there was any and it loosely followed the games progression system, I'd say merge Biohazard 2 and 3 into a single title considering the timeline. Would at least make the game fresh.

Found this in my online wandering. I know it's in regards to future titles taking on characteristics of classic games, but it's the last line that hooks me.

"Over on the Capcom Unity forums, Capcom VP Christian Svensson recently made a few interesting comments in response to some fan questions. It may lead someone to believe that a new, old-school style Resident Evil game is in the works.

This is probably a better question for Kawata or Kobayashi, however to throw in my [two cents] Revelations (or perhaps future titles that resemble Revs) is probably the closest RE classic purists are going to get.

We won’t forget you guys though…but I can’t tell you how or why yet. "

I really could care less if it's an exclusive. Seems to me they you could get more profit having such "Exclusives" on both consoles, but what do I know? I'm just a consumer.

My God this sounds really stupid. And here I thought we'd be getting like a campaign scenario for Nemesis or something, but it is what I feared it was going to be. Another stupid 4v4 USS vs Spec Ops multiplayer mode. "Oh but this one has a twist! There's a remote control and if you find it, you can control Nemesis!" That is one of the most stupid things I've heard from this game. Probably THE most stupid thing. "Oh and by the way, you have to pay extra for it and it's available as soon as the game launches *derp*"

Rebecca, she's always been my favorite RE character. Plus if I get hurt she can heal me.

Would not surprise me if it releases same time as RE6 demo on PS3 and the blu-ray contains RE6 the demo.

^ Lol I think it's funny when Anderson calls these people up and asks "Hey! Do you guys wanna come over and play in my new RE movie?". Then they go "Uh... I'm kinda busy doing something else at the moment.". Then Anderson sighs and desides to cut them out of the movie in some half-assed way.

Yeah just saw it elsewhere. It's as usual, the same crap. I loved the small scene of all of those hundreds of air crafts descending onto alice and her just standing there looking all non-chalant aiming her two hydra's and shooting at them like they're just flies she can pick off with ease. And by love I mean, I laughed terribly at it and sighed to myself. Things never change in "Mary Sue: The Movie"

And I am so tired of that damn opening "My name is Alice.....".
