I'm going to beat it in a couple of hours but I have to say that I love it, it feels fresh and different, maybe too different to be called a RE game, but I guess you can say the same thing for almost the entire game.
Sherry is blowing me away, I love his personality, his design, his voice, the have done an amazing job with her.
The concept of Outbreak, with todays online infrastructure and know-how about online games, it could be a hit if it's done right, make a game about survival, about escaping a city full of zombies, not a game about killing thousand s of enemies. Probably it will never happen but one thing it's for sure, the essence of Resident Evil it's survival, they need to start from there.
Looks like excuses to me, it's pretty clear why the game "failed". I can see the board of executives at Capcom running like headless chickens asking why the game didn't sold as much as call of duty when they throw at it 600 workers and millions and millions of yens to develop it.
