Jack Krauser

Krauser once served with Leon as an operative for the United States government. Krauser was presumed to have died in a helicopter crash during one of the missions, but was in fact alive and well. Krauser was rescued by Wesker who injected Krauser with a virus that gave him powers similar to Wesker’s.

Krauser was sent to infiltrate the Los Illuminados cult so that he could recover a sample of Las Plagas, but in order to gain Saddler's trust he had to deliver the President’s daughter. Using is knowledge of the U.S. government security systems, Krauser was able to find and extract Ashley from the US and take her back to Saddler.

Having earned Saddler’s trust, Krauser was ordered to kill Leon, his former comrade. Krauser was frustrated by Wesker’s decision to send Ada along on the mission as well, and rightfully questioned her motives, as she wound up saving Leon’s from certain death at Krauser’s. Krauser and Leon engaged in an epic final battle amid some ancient ruins, where Krauser demonstrated his new power, granted by Las Plagas, by transforming his arm into a huge, impenetrable claw. Leon seemingly killed Krauser at the ruins, but the resiliant Krauser managed to survive, left horribly scared he went after Ada. The two fought on the rooftops of the Illuminados' base, where Ada finally dispatched Krauser for good.
