A former member of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo Team, Joseph was promoted to vehicle specialist for the Alpha Team right before the Mansion Incident. He was young, enthusiastic, and curious.

That curiosity got the best of him when the Alpha Team landed at the Bravo Team’s helicopter crash site. Joseph searched the surrounding area for any clues as to the whereabouts of any Bravo members, and discovered a human hand lying on the grass. Joseph screamed, but it was cut off when a Cerberus jumped at his neck and ate him alive. Jill tried to save him but it was too late; he was gone before the nightmare began.
