This beautiful, intelligent woman was an ex-Delta Force member before the age of 23. She extremely proficient with mechanical devices such as lock picks, so talented, in fact, that she was given the nickname “the master of unlocking". After leaving the Army, she joined S.T.A.R.S. and was relocated to Raccoon City.

A member of Alpha Team, Jill was sent on the rescue mission in the Arclay Mountains to find the downed Bravo Team helicopter. She ended up in the Spencer Mansion with her friend Barry and her leader, Wesker. Jill partnered with Barry throughout most of the ordeal; the two of them saved each others' skins on more than one occasion.

Jill eventually discovered the hidden Umbrella lab under the mansion, where she uncovered the truth behind Wesker’s betrayal. Not only did Wesker betray his team, he also pretended to kidnap Barry’s family to have Barry do his bidding. In the end, Barry and Jill’s friendship prevailed and they escaped the mansion with Chris and Rebecca.

Jill was disgusted at the Raccoon City Police Department when they would not act on the info gathered from the Mansion Incident. The survivors continued to warn the R.P.D. of Umbrella’s operations but were ignored.

Jill Valentine quit S.T.A.R.S. when no one would act on her pleas. She decided to travel with Chris to Umbrella HQ in Europe. As she was ready to leave, however, the impossible happened, and all of Raccoon City had become infected with the T-virus. She had to escape the undead city, and worse yet, an unstoppable monster called Nemesis was hunting her.

Jill crossed paths with Carlos Oliveira, a U.B.C.S. member who thought he was sent in to save civilians. Jill went through hell and back trying to get out of Raccoon City, at one point becoming infected with the T-virus by Nemesis. Luckily, Carlos was able to find the vaccine. Later, she discovered that the U.B.C.S. was sent in to collect combat data and that U.B.C.S. sergeant Nicholai Ginovaef was trying to cash in on Jill’s bounty put by Umbrella.

Jill managed to kill the treacherous Nicholai and destroy the Nemesis with the help of Carlos, but the ordeal was not over yet, as the U.S. sent bombers to nuke Raccoon City while they were still inside. Fortunately, Barry arrived with a helicopter and rescued Jill and Carlos before the nuclear strike.

After escaping the city, Jill traveled to Chris’s hideout but found only a knife on the floor. It’s safe to assume that she has found Chris since that point in time, yet we do not know what Ms. Valentine has been up to since the destruction of Umbrella.
