Ingrid Hunnigan serves has the communication liaison between Leon and US headquarters during his mission to save the President’s daughter. She relayed Leon his orders and gave him mission updates as he progressed until they lost contact when Leon when he entered a large castle. They eventually re-established contact, though it was after Leon successfully completed his mission.
